The BRadiant Foundation African Diaspora Scholarship Fund is given annually to graduating high school seniors who exude academic excellence, community engagement and service. 

Scholarship Amount

$1,000 to attend a four-year accredited undergraduate college or university 

Selection Criteria

Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership, and service to others. 

Selection Process
All applications are reviewed by a scholarship committee. The review includes an analysis of grades, essay, letters of recommendation, extra-curricular activities, and community service. Each year 2 students will be selected.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

• Be of the African Diaspora
• Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
• A graduating high school senior attending a four year accredited university or college
• Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
• Have a minimum of 30 service hours within the last 3 years.
• Reside in New Jersey, New York City, or Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks county)
