BRadiant Foundation African Diaspora Scholarship Fund
The BRadiant Foundation African Diaspora Scholarship Fund is given annually to graduating high school seniors who exude academic excellence, community engagement and service.
Scholarship Amount$1,000 to attend a four-year accredited undergraduate college or university
Selection CriteriaRecipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership, and service to others.
Selection Process
All applications are reviewed by a scholarship committee. The review includes an analysis of grades, essay, letters of recommendation, extra-curricular activities, and community service. Each year 2 students will be selected.
Applicants must:
- Be of the African Diaspora
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
- A graduating high school senior attending a four year accredited university or college
- Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Have a minimum of 30 service hours within the last 3 years.
- Reside in New Jersey, New York City, or Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks county)
